As a HUBZone company, Rondo-Pak/Contemporary Graphic Solutions (CGS) has become an integral part of the Camden, New Jersey community. Over 50% of the company employees are residents of the community. This is one of the fundamental objectives of the HUBZone program – to promote job growth, capital investment and economic development in historically underutilized business zones or economically distressed communities.
In addition to employing many Camden residents, Rondo-Pak/CGS actively contributes to worthy causes within the community. Each year the company participates in programs with The Salvation Army at the Kroc Center in Camden, especially during the holiday season. The most recent initiative was the Adopt-A-Family Program, in which The Salvation Army connects impoverished families with individuals or groups to provide for their tangible needs during the holidays.
Rondo-Pak/CGS is proud to have adopted two families this year. Account Executive, Alex Mocharnuk took the lead in the sponsorship and rallied employees to participate by making contributions toward fulfilling the family’s Christmas lists. Both families – with five individuals each – will enjoy receiving their full wish lists and more due to the hard work of Alex and the generosity of many employees.
CEO, Tim Moreton joined Alex and the team in delivering the holiday gifts to the Kroc Center. “What the Salvation Army does for the people of this community is heroic and humbling,” said Moreton. “There are gifts for 77 families, with over 400 individual family members, as part of this program. In addition, they provide two gifts each for more than 4,000 children. We are quite happy to have been a small contribution to such a worthy program for those in need.”
In addition, Rondo-Pak/CGS also contributes services to produce annual collateral materials for The Salvation Army and The Kroc Center.
