CHILD RESISTANT BLISTER PACKAGING
Rondo-Pak along with our partners have developed folding cartons specifically designed with child safety features making it highly difficult for children under 5 to open or remove products. The Poison Prevention Packaging Act of 1970 requires the use of child-resistant packaging for prescription drugs, over the counter (OTC) drugs, household chemicals, and other hazardous materials that could be considered dangerous for children. That is why our solutions have been tested in accordance with the US Code of Federal Regulations and testing procedures for child-safe pharmaceutical packaging, so, you know you can rely on them. The packaging is also senior-friendly, so patients with limited motor functions also find it easy to open and close the packs.
SECURP'AK® AND CAREP'AK®
Securp'ak® is a childproof pack for solid products in a blister pack. Our European partner, Rondo AG , together with the French company A.C.D., has developed this new, safe and secure child-resistant packaging.
Two actions must be performed at the same time in order to remove the product, which makes it difficult and unlikely that it can be done by a child. Nevertheless, the seniors-friendly handling aspect of the packaging has been maintained.
For the patented CAREP'AK® system from A.C.D, Rondo and A.C.D. have developed an innovative folding carton. To release the product from the blister pack, a mechanism must be inserted inside the folding carton and the medication is pressed individually out of the pack.
